POLL/SURVEY: Do you remember when Princess Diana died and the whole world was obsessed for a month about it?

I remember it happening!
I saw a news story of the car crash at 2 am, and my mom didn’t believe me.
But she found out that Diana WAS in a car accident the next day!

I remember her being on the cover of TIME magazine, which seemed iconic.

And I remember when Elton John sang "Candle in the Wind" after her death and EVERYONE went out and bought that song on audio cassette. (Admittedly, I bought the CD of the single)

I also remember Mother Teresa dying shortly afterward, but she didn’t get as much news attention.
