Can you trust those car audio places in the magazines for the price?

some adds say the price then add plus labor, does that mean i have to get it installed there?
Also the prices are really really low? Is there something wrong with the products?
the products i am looking at are name brand. Fosgate subs but i am a little suspicious about the prices.
the subs look like enclosed p1 dual 12’s from 67 to 0

No, you cannot trust 95% of them. They will list a package that looks good and then when you get there they want to charge you all sorts of extra money for the install or some other trap. They will list a package deal for an excellent price but labor is not included and the prices are only good if they install it. Call and ask if there are any additional fees before you waste you time going there. The bad thing is some of them will lie and tell you there are no additional charges just to get you there so they can try and hook you. Car Audio shops are like mechanics, most of them will try and rip you off if you do not know what the equipment and labor should cost.
There are good shops out there but do your homework first. Put the details here on Answers and ask if it is a good deal.
well they are legit shops, some are not honest but some are. products with those really really low prices are usually not great products, they are to grab your attention enough to bring you into their shops. you might as well get it installed there incase the installation is not done correctly, they will have to fix it for you, i got mine installed at a car audio shop they did a good job installing. sometimes those products are decent in my opinion.
